Good Morning! Be encouraged today, sow seeds of love!
In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both [shall be] alike good. ~ Ecclesiastes 11:6
So often we don’t act because we feel like we have to do big things and have it all figured out before we plant seeds. We underestimate the power of small seeds such as, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, a touch, a hug, or the smallest act of caring. But if we will just plant small seeds, God will make them grow. He knows how to change the world. Every word and every action plants something in someone’s life!
Morning Prayer: Father God, thank you for your love, grace, and mercy. You are the God who knows all things. It’s part of your plan that we love people from all walks of life. You know who is in need of love, a kind word, and encouragement! Therefore, Holy Spirit, help us this morning to be intentional with every moment and every person we come in contact with today. Grant us spiritual discernment to recognize the needs of others and your wisdom of how to sow seeds of love, hope, and faith into the hearts and lives of others. We thank you in advance for blessing us to be a blessing unto others. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
The Lord is good and worthy to be praised. I woke up this morning with Jesus on my mind. I’m so grateful for His faithfulness. Earlier in the week I witnessed the manifestation of things to come within the body of Christ. As I was in prayer and communion with the Lord this morning, I was reminded to “wait on the Lord and be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart, wait I say on the Lord”. I admonish you, just don’t wait only, but be of good courage and don’t complain while you wait.
