Good Morning! Be encouraged today, it’s only a test!
Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. ~ Hebrew 12:11
The reality is that we are going to go through rough and hard times. God allows us to go through trials so we can grow in faith and develop more of a character in Christ. Also, trials reveal the genuineness of our faith, what we are made of and the condition of our hearts. They test us. The test is not meant to harm us but to bring us closer to God and make us more like the image of Christ. The next time you are presented with a challenge, choose to trust God and the process.
Morning Prayer: Father God, the author and finisher of our faith. When our faith is tested, my prayer is that our faith is proven genuine. Give us a heart brimming with joy and peace, that remains firmly rooted in You, no matter our circumstances in Jesus’ matchless name. Amen.
