Good Morning! Be encouraged today, pursue God’s rewards!
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. ~ Hebrew 11:6
A reward is a prize, an honor, a gift. That’s
what you can expect when you spend time drawing near to God. Being a rewarder is an integral part of who God is and what he does. Our faith is not complete unless we are firmly convinced that God will reward those who earnestly seek Him. Therefore, fix your hope on God’s promises. Let them motivate you to live a holy life that brings God glory.
Morning Prayer: Father God, we thank you for your expression of tender love by rewarding those who diligently seek your face. In your Word you promise us that living a holy life has “great rewards.” These regards are not only for this present life, but also for the one to come. As we desire more of You, increase your presence in our homes, churches, and lives so we are transformed into your likeness with ever increasing glory. In Jesus’ matchless and glorious name. Amen.
