Good Morning! Be encouraged today, for the Lord graciously pours out His Spirit!
And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. 29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. ~ Joel 2:28-29
On this day you can rejoice that the Lord pours out His Spirit indiscriminately—without regard for whether or not we deserve. You do not have to beg God to fill you with His Holy Spirit. You do not have to barter with Him by fasting or weeping or begging or pleading. Just shall live by faith. We do not earn God’s fullness. We receive it by faith.
Morning Prayer: Father God, my prayer is that you pour out your Spirit upon us. Reveal Your perfect will to us and give us the clear vision of what You want for us. By faith, clothe us with your Holy Ghost power to speak and declare Your Word with boldness, power and conviction. To demonstrate my faith, I thank You for filling us with Your Holy Spirit and for taking complete control of our life. In Jesus’ matchless name. Amen.
