Good Morning! Be encouraged today, reignite the burning and consuming fire of God in your life!
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: ~ Matthew 3:11
Many of us have fallen into a state where nothing seems to excite us anymore. The burning fire and zeal we once had for God, prayer, ministry, and our earthly assignments have been quenched by life and the cares of this world. If this is you, then take time this morning to ask God to open your eyes to see where the fire may have dimmed or gone out in your life. Then ask for forgiveness and help to reignite the fire and zeal you once had for the Almighty God.
Morning Prayer: Heavenly Father, we bless you for being a consuming fire that covers, protects, hides, clothes, and delivers us from the fiery darts of the enemy. Oh Lord, let the presence of Your fire be released in our lives, in our homes, in our marriages, in our kids lives, in our work life, in our church homes. Holy Spirit, help us to stir up and rekindle the fire we once had for you. May we keep the fire ablaze like never before! May it burn continually and never dim again in Jesus Name. Amen.
