Good Morning! Be encouraged today, hallow the name of the Lord!
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. ~ Exodus 20:7
Is there a reverence for God in your life? Is His name being elevated and hallowed through the way you live? Are you hallowing His name in your heart, walk, and talk? God is great. He is glorious. He is awesome. He is holy. He is pure. He is generous, merciful and gracious. As children of God, we ought to hallow the name of the Lord in every sphere of our life - in the world, our homes, and churches. God’s name should always be hallowed, reverenced, and treated with awe and the utmost respect.
Good Morning: Father God, thank you for being a holy and just God! There is no one like you. Forgive us this morning for not always hallowing your name in our hearts and treating You with the highest regard and respect. Not only are you holy but your name is Holy and deserves the highest respect and honor. Therefore, I pray this morning that our lives shall hallow, sanctify, and magnify Your name making famous the name of Jesus Christ wherever we go. In everything, let your name be glorified and known through us. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
