God Never Loses Sight Of Us

Good Morning! Be encouraged today, God never loses sight of us!

“For I will set My eyes on them for good, and I will bring them back to this land; I will build them and not pull them down, and I will plant them and not pluck them up. Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the LORD; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart.” ~ Jeremiah 24:6-7

Even when God’s anger is aroused by our sins - by breaking His perfect and beneficial laws - He never loses sight of us. He leads us back to Him and restores our lives. Israel was a rebellion people. They turned their backs on God and chased after other gods and idols. For this, God sent them into captivity. However, God NEVER took his eyes off of them. He still made provisions for them in the wilderness. When their punishment was done, God promised that he would take care of them. He would restore them to their land and plant them there. Therefore, be encouraged because God is the same God yesterday, today, and forevermore. God has NOT taken His eyes off us and is always trying to reconcile us back to Him. If you, or someone you know, has turned away from God there is still time to turn back. God is patient. Ask Him to forgive your sins and make your heart new.

Morning Prayer: Father God, have mercy upon us and this nation. For too long we have forsaken you and turned to our own evil ways of destruction. Oh God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out our transgressions. Wash away all our iniquity and cleanse us from our sin. Against you have we sinned and done what is evil in your sight; so you are right in your verdict and justified when you judge. Cleanse us, wash us, and make us white as snow. Do not cast us from your presence. Restore unto us the joy of your salvation and uphold us by your generous spirit. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
