Good Morning! Be encouraged today, don’t yield to your flesh.
For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please (Gal. 5:17).
There is always a war between our Spirit and flesh. The flesh sets its desire against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh. These two natures within us produce different desires, which, if yielded to, produce different actions and lifestyles. Do not feed your flesh anything. Do not provide anything that will keep it alive for the nature you feed the most will win.
Morning Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for the blood of Jesus that sanctifies and cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Holy Spirit, help us walk honestly and put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and not make provision for the flesh and fulfill the lusts thereof. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
