Good Morning! Be encouraged today, beware of the company you keep!
Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character. ~ 1 Corinthians 15:33
We have all heard the saying that birds of a feather flock together, meaning that the company you keep reflects your personality and who you are. The people you choose to hang with is a reflection of your true values and what you stand for. For example. A smart person tends to surround himself with other smart people. If you hang out with trash, you will be perceived as trash. A Christian surrounds him or herself with other Christians. Evaluate the people in your life and choose your friends wisely. Be careful who you let into your life. Godly friends tend to make your life better. Bad company will distract you from your walk with God.
Morning Prayer: Heavenly Father, grant us the wisdom to choose our friends wisely. Send us friends who will help shape our character, build us up spiritually, encourage us in our faith walk, and inspire us to walk in our greatness. Remove anyone in our lives that will cause us to stray from our faith in the true and living God. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
