Good Morning! Be encouraged today, be agents of God’s peace.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. ~ John 14:27
Put away hostility, hatred, animosity and prejudice and all that divides, and choose to become an agent of God’s peace that promotes love like Jesus who went to the cross loving and forgiving all His enemies. Proclaim God’s peace in every room you enter and His peace shall come.
Morning Prayer: Father God, as your peace agents by the will of our Lord Jesus Christ, let us be an example to the world by always displaying patience, forgiveness, justice, mercy, and most importantly love one to another for all races, nations, and sexes. You are not a God of division, but a God of peace and love. Holy Spirit, tear down the walls of hatred, resentment, and hurt, then penetrate our souls with Your all consuming mercy and grace. Help us to always pursue peace and display it everywhere where there is no peace. Then we can stand firm knowing that Your peace will calm every storm we encounter. In Jesus’ matchless name. Amen.
